- After commissioning he was posted to IPKF Sri Lanka where he served from 1987 to 1990 and in OP Rakshakfrom 1990 to 1993.
- In IPKF he was the was the Airport coordinating for the flight operations of the IAF at Batticaloa Airport, mainly the AN32 Aircrafts bringing in essential supplies for the troops from 1988 to 1990
- He left as a short service officer in 1994 to pursue a career in civil services but eventually found pride in serving the Defence forces in the present role
- Incorporated Vigneshwar Aero Marine and since has been overseeing the overall operations of the firm since inception
